Updates: Well it is that time of the year again with the Red Sox in the Baseball Playoffs. See pix of mine from the ALDS series games three and four at Fenway between the Red Sox and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (how do they say that all of the time?) here: ALDS Series 2008. ALCS Game 3 This week I made a photo of lightning during a very fast moving storm pushing through the town of Lexington Massachusetts. I was traveling home, trying to beat this storm because my son is terrified of thunder and lightning, but had to hope that he could keep his courage up long enough for me to shoot a few frames of lightning striking at the front of this storm. I spied the flag pole and decided that could make a good addition to the composition and the storm finished it off... ![]() Much to my amazement, I have been asked more than once if the photo is real. Yes it is real. Nuff Said. This site has begun to a switch over to flash and you will have to have the flash plug-in to view a majority of the pages. My friend and mentor David Burnett and his wife Iris have started a blog, or Blob, as they call it. Watch out, one of the entries is dated 1964. http://werejustsayin.blogspot.com/ I have begun a small homage page to photographers and journalists that have been killed on assignment, or have passed on due to other reasons. I was shocked to hear of the death of photographer Jorge Aguirre in Caracas after he was shot by his attackers. Aguirre was able to fire one last frame and capture an image of the shooter fleeing the scene on a motorbike, and wanted that to not be forgotten. Homage can be seen here: http://cjphotoarchive.no-ip.info/homage.html "Don't Photo" is no longer online. The collections of photographs from the Presidential Campaign photographers are no longer online. For those that could not go another day without "Don't Photo," I would be happy to send you a copy of the site on CD. Just send me an email. Purchasing copies of 'Press This Way...A wider view of the Kerry Campaign' Interested buyers can order an autographed, leatherbound, sixty page copy of my first book by clicking here.
