In 2004 I documented first the Howard Dean and then the John Kerry Presidential Campaigns for epa, the European Pressphoto agency and compiled a collection of black and white images with a panoramic film camera while I had this unique oportunity.

I was fortunte to be invited to document the Hansom family as they tried to spend one last summer holiday with their grandmother, Mary, as she slipped into the darkness of Alzheimers Disease. In an effort to re-kindle memories she may still hold, the family returned to Mary's Island home in Maine, to create final fond memories of their own.
